ARE YOU READY FOR ZERO GRAVITY MMA FIGHTING?

After the announcement that Iervolino Entertainment (IE) is launching the revolutionary company Space 11 for the production of film, TV and web content, as well as music and sports events entirely filmed in space, IE founder and renowned producer Andrea Iervolino presented this company’s first project to the public – Galactic Combat. It is a new format of martial arts tournaments in zero gravity, called MMA-ZERO G. The series will follow MMA fighters for 12 months long competition, and the best among them will have the opportunity to be the first to ever fight outside the Earth’s atmosphere.

‘’The spectacle of combat in zero gravity will make an unforgettable viewing experience the viewers will not want to miss. This format aims to provide the audience eager to push the boundaries with something unique and unusual – and that is the essence of the entire project. Of course, we are fully committed to testing scientific technologies and methods, for maximum safety of all participants throughout the competition,’’ said Andrea Iervolino, CEO and founder of Space 11, Ievolino Entertainment and Iervolino Studios.

A total of 40 fighters from all over the world will participate in this competition, train and learn to fight in the absence of gravity for a year, through programs and conditioning mirroring programs used during the training of astronauts. During that period, 32 participants will be eliminated, while only eight of them will get a chance to participate in the main MMA-ZERO G competition, whose vice president and promoter will be former MMA fighter John Lewis.

The dramatic final fight of the last two competitors remaining in the race for the title of the champion will take place in space – in a specially designed capsule inside a special rocket. The fight will last 90 minutes, which is the time it takes the spacecraft to orbit the Earth.

A RECORD YEAR FOR IERVOLINO ENTERTAINMENT – THE ITALIAN PRODUCTION COMPANY REACHED A VALUE OF 720 MILLION EUROS IN 2020

For the famous Italian producer Andrea Iervolino, CEO and founder of the international film and television production company Iervolino Entertainment, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, 2020 was more than successful. After opening a new animated content production company Iervolino Studios in Serbia, they ended the year with revenues higher by 51 percent compared to 2019. It is, therefore, estimated that Iervolino Entertainment (IE) reached a value of 720 million euros, despite the global crisis caused by the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus, which has hit the entertainment industry the hardest. The success is all the greater when you look at the competition’s performance in the field of film production, where many companies have listed the same amount of debts as the revenues in their financial statements for 2020.

However, in order to continue in the same pace this year, Andrea Iervolino decided to sell 1% of his total share in IE, sending a clear message to the rest of the market: the company is doing very well, it deserves even more value, and he will do everything in his power to provide greater liquidity for shares of Iervolino Entertainment listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.

“The decision to sell one package of shares should be viewed exclusively positively, because I have positioned my shares in the blocs of large international funds, which have shown they believe in our common vision and I am sure they will support it in the long run. As you know, every successful company listed on the stock exchange must have shares with great market liquidity, and thus significant free turnover, in order to reach a higher value over time, said Andrea Iervolino.

This attitude is shared by many successful entrepreneurs – more institutional investors among the company’s shareholders guarantees stability and growth in the value of shares on the stock exchange, while a small number of investors automatically means weaker stock trading, and therefore lower company’s value. Andrea Iervolino listed its Iervolino Entertainment on the Milan Stock Exchange in August 2019, placing 5.5 million shares worth 1.95 euros each. Today, they are worth 3.6 euros, 84 percent more, bringing IE an annual income of 120.7 million euros.

Iervolino Entertainment plans to invest 100 million euros in the production of animated content, with an additional 8.5 million euros in its branch – Iervolino Studios in Serbia, which is envisaged by signing the Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Economy of Serbia and a Memorandum of Cooperation with Archangel Digital Studios, owned by Miloš Biković.

REVOLUTION IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY IERVOLINO ENTERTAINMENT JOINS ELON MUSK IN SPACE

On the heels of space projects launched by Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson and Elon Musk, Andrea Iervolino, CEO and founder of the international production company Iervolino Entertainment (IE) as well as Iervolino Studios for the production of animated contentannounced the opening of a new business unit – Space 11. This revolutionary company aims to produce film, TV and web content, but also music and sports events, entirely filmed in space.

Space 11, a subsidiary of the IE Group and the first entity dedicated to the development of entertainment formats and events in zero gravity, was born from Andrea’s idea to move entertainment beyond the Earth’s borders, similar to companies designing accommodation and recreational facilities for outer space.

“Today, thinking of a project of this magnitude might seem too futuristic and impractical, but the technical progress is advancing at such a speed as to believe that everything is already possible in the medium term. Indeed, entrepreneurial minds like Elon Musk and actors like Tom Cruise are already exploring the territory and communication tools in space for single and other initiatives. I foresee that by the first half of 2023 we will already be able to realize the first live event, said Andrea Iervolino.

In order to accomplish this revolutionary mission, Iervolino has already begun enlisting top collaborators, including the sector’s leading engineers, astrophysicists, astronomers and technicians, who will systematically study all the means and methods needed to create something so unimaginable and unique.

Furthermore, Space 11 has partnered with the Elon Musk’s Space-X program and the Gall Hassin International Center for Astronomical Sciences in Sicily, whose former employees will be on the company’s Advisory Board. The first project will probably be a sports event, with the preparations beginning this summer.

IERVOLINO ENTERTAINMENT AND WE DO IT TOGETHER JOIN FORCES IN THE FIGHT FOR FEMALE EMPOWERMENT

Eva Longoriand Cara Delevingne in an anthological, all female film project “Women’s Stories”

Film and TV production company Iervolino Entertainment, parent company of the domestic Iervolino Studiosannounced a new project entitled “Women’s Stories”, in collaboration with the non-profit production company We Do It Together, which aims to empower womenThis anthological film, composed of six interconnected stories, gathers six female directors from all over the world, while the production is entrusted to Chiara Tilesi, Lucas Akonsin, Monika Bacardi and Andrea Iervolino.

The film is being shot in Italy, India and the United States in a genre that ranges from drama, through comedy and docudrama, to animated format. Additionally to the world-famous actresses Eva Longoria and Cara Delevingne, other internationally renowned artists have been chosen for a role in “Women’s Stories” – Margherita Buy, Marcia Gay Harden, Leonor Varela and Jacqueline Fernandez. The first four segments of the film have already been shot, directed by Maria Sole Tognazzi, Lucia Puenzo, Catherine Hardwicke and Leena Yadav.

“It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to work with such an extraordinary team and contribute to conveying a message that is bigger and more important than the film itself – and that is gender equality. Also, it was very important for us that the whole project is realized on a global level, because the issue of equality concerns all of us, which is why we filmed it in several different locations around the world, said Andrea Iervolino, CEO and founder of Iervolino Entertainment.

The non-profit production company We Do It Together was founded in 2016 with the aim of making feature and documentary films, television and other content, dedicated exclusively to empowering women and breaking stereotypes about them in the entertainment industry, which is mostly “ruled” by men.

“Our mission is to improve and change the status of women in film and in the media – from objects to subjects. We are dedicated to telling stories about women, whether they are behind or in front of the camera, and that is why the “Women’s Stories” project is so important. We have gathered female directors from all over the globe to tell stories in their own way about all those heroines around us, their ambitions and desires – from health workers, mothers, to artists and business women,” said Chiara Tilesi, founder and president of We Do It Together and added that it is very important that women continue to talk about other women, especially after the United Nations published study about “The Impact of COVID on Women”, which showed that gender inequality is still very present and deeply rooted in society.

Let us remind you that Iervolino Entertainment opened a company for the production of short animated content for digital platforms in Serbia – Iervolino Studios, during the previous year.

ANDREA IERVOLINO LISTED ON THE VARIETY500 LIST OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD OF MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT

Today in Novi Sad, the first studio for the production of short animated content in Serbia – Iervolino Studios, was opened. The event was attended by the founder and director of the production company Iervolino Entertainment, Andrea Iervolino and Miloš Biković, our famous actor and partner in this project, as well as the first 30 employees in the Novi Sad studio.

“This project is a huge opportunity for Serbia and the local young people who are engaged in art. The plan is to employ almost 600 people from the profession over the years, with large investments in the production of animated content, which we will then export all over the world”, Andrea Iervolino said. He added that all phases of the creative process will be realized here – from the initial idea, design, post-production and later distribution, and that the finished product will be the intellectual property of the state of Serbia.

In June this year, Iervolino Entertainment signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia and the production company Archangel Digital Studios, owned by Miloš Biković, which envisages that an Italian production company invests at least 8.5 million EUR in the project of establishing Iervolino Studios in Serbia.

“I am very grateful to Andrea for the trust he has given to our country, because it is a clear signal that there is great talent among young people in Serbia who are engaged in creative work. The construction of such a large studio and the launch of the highest quality production opens new possibilities for Serbian cinematography, and I believe that this project will help to send a positive image of Serbia to the world “, Miloš Biković said.

After Novi Sad, the company Iervolino Studios plans to open branches in Belgrade in mid-September, as well as throughout Serbia in the coming period.

THE FILM “WAITING FOR THE BARBARIANS” IN THE PROCESS FOR ACADEMY AWARDS NOMINATION

The film Waiting for the Barbarians”, produced by Iervolino Entertainment which founded a company Iervolino Studios for the production of short animated films in Serbia earlier this yearis in the nomination process for the most prestigious film award – Academy Award 2021

This film is based on the novel of the same name by a South African Nobel laureate J.M. Coetzeewho also wrote the screenplay, while the director is a well-known Colombian director Ciro Guerrain his first English language filmThe main roles were trusted to famous actors Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinsonas well as to the Academy Award winner Mark Rylance.

The plot of the film Waiting for the Barbarians takes place on the borders of an imaginary oriental empire, and focuses on the eternal question of the relationship between the natives and the conquerors, advanced civilization and barbarians. In a seemingly quiet border area of the empire under the direction of an old Magistrate, played by Mark Rylancecontroversial Colonel Joll (Johnny Depp) suddenly arrivesand with his brutality towards the nativesraises suspicion in the Magistrate and arouses the spirit of revolt against the regime which he is part of.

The main reason that attracted me to this project is that the message of the book and the movie „Waiting for the Barbarians“ is timeless. Although the plot is not happening in the real world, everyone can relate to it – 40 years from now when the book was written, as well as today“ vreme“, said Andrea Iervolino, producer of the film and Director of the production company Iervolino Entertainment„We are currently in the process of nominating the movie for the Academy Award and since it was shot in English, it would be in the run for awards in the main category, although it is officially an Italian film. Now we only need to prove to the world that the „Barbarians“ are special and different enough and therefore worthy of this prestigeous award“, added Andrea Iervolino.

Iervolino Entertainment started working in Serbia after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia and the production studio of our famous actor and producer Miloš Biković, Archangel Digital Studios.

I liked the movie a lot and I wish Andrea all the luck in his run for the Oscar. „Waiting for the Barbarians“ is another example of the fact that Andrea is always trying to pass an important message with his movies, to make this world a better place“, said Miloš Biković. „I have no doubts that the projects we are working oin together in Serbia will have the same success, although we are just in the beginning. What’s more, animated series „Puffins“, partially created in Serbia, was more popular than Disney on Apple TV during last week“, concluded Miloš Biković.

In just six months of its existence, Iervolino Studios today operates in two locations, in Novi Sad and Belgrade, and employs dozens of talented creatives – from storyboard artists, 3D and 2D animators, to graphic designers, editors and others. Iervolino Studios is already heavily involved in the production of animated short films for world markets, and one of the first projects in which it participated is the short-animated series Puffins, which is available on Apple TV and Amazon Prime digital platforms.

The animated film Arctic Dogs, whose characters are owned by the production company Iervolino Entertainment, won the famous Pulcinella Award for Best Animation at the traditional Italian Cartoons on the Bay festival, dedicated to film, television and animation.

This film is listed as one of the most streamed animated movies on Netflix in America this year, while its sequels are equally successful on digital platforms. Namely, the company Iervolino Entertainment, founder of Iervolino Studios in Serbia, bought the intellectual rights for seven characters from the movie Arctic Dogs last December, including the rights to sell, use music and print, as well as commercial rights, with the aim of producing various animated short formats.

Among them are Puffins, an animated series starring Johnny Deppin the creation of which employees of the domestic Iervolino Studios also participated. It was in the first place in terms of viewership on the Apple TV platform in the first week of its showing. A similar success was achieved by Arctic Friends, an animated series that follows the polar fox Swift, and which was the most viewed children’s and family title on the same platform in Italy.

“The continuous success of the Arctic Dogs proves once again that our investment in intellectual property was a good decision and we will continue to go in that direction in the future. Also, I am immensely pleased that the famous Cartoons on the Bay festival recognized our work and that tells me that the quality of our animation is currently among the best on the market, said Andrea Iervolino, CEO and founder of Iervolino Entertainment.

After announcing that actor Johnny Depp will officially be part of the first animated movie produced in Serbia, the Iervolino Entertainment company signed a contract with a man who was, for years, the most responsible for a large amount of television content broadcasted in Italy and other countries where Mediaset is present. Antonucci Ferrara will play a key role in the research, development and realization of future film projects within the production company Iervolino Entertainment, including those that will be created in Serbia.
