Why we are looking for you:
We are looking for an exceptional Compositing Artists with a great team spirit and good technical knowledge to become a part of our creative gang, to come and create final finished animation and work alongside our team on an unannounced 3D animated series.
We need you as one of the most important players in the production process responsible for creating the final finished animation, film and other projects by detecting errors and developing compositing strategies, which result in the overall balanced look of our projects.
Help us flesh out the final touches.
Daily responsibilities:
- Carries out compositing for different projects in production by using multiple passes
- Obtains the visual rendering required by the VFX supervisor during the creation of passes
- Performs tasks that are an integral part of the compositing process, including 2D tracking, working with masks, arranging elements in layers and fitting them, color grading, 3D projections and roto/paint
- Does additional compositing of pre-composed 3D bands by adding VFX and 2D elements
- Works efficiently in a diversity of styles, while respecting technical constraint, and deadlines
- Ensures uniformity in all the sequences of a project
- Possesses a good understanding of photography and film
- Prioritizes workflows and identifies the right order in which to complete tasks
- Understands and follows production guidelines; solves design and/or effect challenges for key visual effects shots
- Maintains the production pipeline and meets deadlines
- Provides timely corrections at the request of production
Qualifications and skills:
- 3+ years of experience in a professional environment or 4+ years of experience and work proving this. Degree in Visual Arts, CG or related field is an asset.
- Art portfolio related to the references above
- *Degree and work experience requirements may be waived if candidates can show exceptional skills.
- Proficient in DaVinci Resolve
- Proficient in Nuke and Photoshop
- Excellent knowledge of compositing and lighting as well as good cooperation with supervisors
- Passionate about AR & VR
- Ability to take direction positively
- Cooperating effectively with artists and interacting with other departments in the company
- Ability to work as part of a team in a high-intensity environment, team-oriented and cooperative
- It is necessary to adapt to work in larger teams and advanced project management
- High attention to details
It’s a plus if you:
- have 2+ years industry experience preferred in VFX, CGI, Editing…
- are familiar with or proficient in Premiere and After Effects
