Daily responsibilities
- Creates videos for both internal and external needs (advertising, social media content, etc.)
- Participates, proposes, and develops ideas and branding concepts for video materials and promotion of IES and ADS
- Manages video projects from start to finish—idea development, direction, shooting, and editing creative and compelling content for external use
- Figures out what type of equipment to use
- Calibrates and maintains equipment
- Shooting and editing interviews, testemonials, events etc.
- Works in the studio as part of a marketing team
- Inserts closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
- Adds computer graphics and special effects to a video
- Does photography for various purposes, for internal and external marketing of the company
- Participating in planing, preparing and executing video projects within the marketing team.
- Manages priorities and workloads effectively to meet project deadlines
Qualifications and skills
- 3+ years of experience creating videos for advertising and social media in a professional environment and work proving this. Degree in Film or related field is an asset.
- Art portfolio related to the references above
*Degree and work experience requirements may be waived if candidates can show exceptional skills
- Proficient knowledge of video editing software Premiere Pro
- Proficient in Photoshop and/or lightroom
- Proficient in audio/video formats, file types and resolutions, file rendering, and video frame rates
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Animation design skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Has an understanding of marketing concepts, brand management, and film and animation industry
- Understands all phases of pre-production, production, and post-production
- Demonstrates excellent people skills
- High attention to details
- Ability to take direction positively and to work within a team
- Effective cooperation with artists and interaction with other departments in the company
- Capable of adapting to work in larger teams and advanced project management
- Ability to problem solve and predict potential problems within assigned tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team in a high-intensity environment, team-oriented, and cooperative
It’s a plus if you have:
- Animation design skills – basic knowledge of Motion Graphic animation
- Knowledge and experience in Final Cut Pro and After Effects
- Previous experience working with a video crew
- Experience in creating dynamic visual storytelling through motion graphic animations – mixing live footage with 2d and 3d graphics
