We are an international production studio in Serbia with offices in Novi Sad and Belgrade, focused on creating short animated content, covering each part of the creative process, from the initial idea to the production and post-production stage, for worldwide streaming platforms. VISUAL DESIGNER @ IES    

We are looking for a passionate visual designer who wants to become part of our team of creative artists and achieve something extraordinary in the animation industry. 

The Visual Designer will be a member of the Marketing and Communications Department, cooperating with various departments in our studio (production, sales, internal communication, HR…) working on numerous international projects. From conceptualizing campaigns and visuals to developing brand guidelines, logos, fonts, marketing collaterals, pre-print, production assets and more, in a visually appealing way. The candidate should bring a strong sense of precision and clarity, as well as a proven ability to create highly performant, visually appealing content for not only the international promotion of our Studio but the promotion of our animated content as well.

Daily responsibilities:   

·        Conceptualize visuals based on requirements 

·        Prepare rough drafts and present ideas 

·        Develop logos, fonts, brochures and other designs 

·        Perform image manipulation and mock-ups 

·        Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each creative 

·        Work on designing marketing and promotional campaigns 

·        Design compelling and consistent digital and print creatives with the marketing team 

·        Help drive online engagement with social media design trends 

·        Develop visual communication standards and design templates for company-wide use 

·        Test graphics across various media 

·        Amend designs after feedback 

·        Ensure all assets and layouts adhere to brand guidelines and are visually appealing 

Qualifications and skills:   

·        5+ years of experience in a professional environment, or 7 years of work experience in similar job positions.  

·        Art portfolio related to the references above 

*Degree and work experience requirements may be waived if candidates can show exceptional skills.  

·        Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related fields is an asset 

·        Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop 

·        A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail 

·        Work both independently and in cooperation with the team, take direction from upper management 

·        Ability to work methodically  

·        Cooperating effectively with artists and interacting with other departments in the company 

·        It is necessary to adapt to work in larger teams and advanced project management 

·        Ability to work as part of a team in a high-intensity environment, team-oriented and cooperative 

·        Basic written and verbal skills in English

Create motion graphics, animation and/or video
