Why are we looking for you?
We are looking for a Production Coordinator with excellent organization and communication skills to join the team and work alongside other coordinators in our creative department.
As a crucial part of production, the Production Coordinator’s job is to make sure that everything within production is running smoothly – that everyone knows what their task is and that they have all the information and assets to complete it.
Daily responsibilities
- Work in a team unit with the rest of the PCs and Production Manager
- Observe and track production processes and pipeline
- Daily internal and external communication.
- Scheduling and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintaining technical viability of the project.
- Keep meticulous track of all current and future tasks within production across multiple projects.
- Facilitate meetings within production and with external partners.
- Keep track of information and assets within production.
- Organize deadlines and ensure they are followed through.
- Keep track of technical limitations within production.
- Communicate with other departments within the company to ensure an optimal environment for production.
Qualifications and skills:
- 2 years experience in a professional environment or 4+ years of work experience in similar job positions. Bachelor’s degree in management, production, or equivalent field is an asset.
- Advanced use of MS Office (Word, Excell, PowerPoint), Project management software (Shotgrid Studios preferred)
- High attention to details
- Receives and implements feedback quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication, organization, and management skills
- Ready to learn new software and acquire new knowledge and follow technologies
- Ability to work in a high-intensity environment, team-oriented and cooperates effectively with artists and colleagues from other departments and associates
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
It’s a plus if you have:
- Previous experience in a similar role in Animation, Film and/or Gaming
- Knowledge of animation and film production
